 petitioner had earlier applied in the
 court of Addl. Chief Metropolitan
 Magistrate, 37th Esplanade Court for
 custody of the minor girl who was

 Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act. The
 application was disallowed on the
 ground that victim girl was minor. The
 By the impugned order, the Magistrate
 directed that the victim be sent to
 Child Welfare Committee at Deonar. In
 the petition, it is alleged that the
 girl is major and that she is an
 unfortunate victim and therefore, she
 is required to be returned to her
 mother. On 20.1.2006, the A.P.P. had
 sought time to verify whether the
 petitioner was minor and to ascertain
 her wishes about staying with the
 petitioner. The A.P.P. states that
 the statement of the girl has been

 away from the aforesaid home but she
