1.	Heard	Mr.Khande	parkar the	learned Counsel for
the	Petitioners.	He	states	that the order passed	by
the	Deputy	Collector		(Encroachment/Eviction)	and
Competent	Authority,	Bandra	on	21st July,2006 has	been
challenged	in	Appeal	file	d before the	Additional
Commission	er and		Administr	ator, Konkan Division	and
the	said App	eal is	still	pending. The	Petitioner,

therefore, seeks directions to hear and decide the

pending Appeal expeditiously.

We direct that the pending Appeal be heard and decided on its merits as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period six months from the receipt of the Writ.
