The above First Appeal was disposed of by
this Court by order dated 14th August, 2006. By the
said order the Reference Court was directed to
decide the Land Acquisition Reference No.140 of
1994 as expeditiously as possible and in any event
on or before 28th February, 2007. The Reference

Court i.e. the learned Civil Judge, Junior
Division, Ratnagiri by his letter dated 28th July,
2008 has sought for an extension of six months to
decide the said Reference for the reasons mentioned
in the said letter dated 28th July, 2008.
2.Having perused the letter and the reasons
cited therein, time to decide the said Land
Acquisition Reference NO.140 of 1994 is extended by
a period of six months from date.
