18th June, 2000 and the Petitioner was elected as a
Sarpanch on 16th August, 2000. The tenure of five
years is over, both of the Grampanchayat as well as
of the Sarpanch. In these circumstances, this
Petition has been rendered infructuous and is
dismissed as such.
