At the hearing of these two Petitions,
Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the employer
and the workman are agreed that in full and final
settlement of the claim, dues and outstandings of
the workman (save and except the claim for interest
on delayed payment of gratuity), the employer shall
pay to the workman, a total amount of Rs.1,71,951/-
within a period of four weeks from today. This
shall, however, not preclude the workman from
availing of such remedies as he has in law, in
order to pursue his claim for interest on delayed
payment of gratuity under the Payment of Gratuity
Act, 1972. Since no other point has been pressed,
these petitions are accordingly disposed of in the
aforesaid terms.
