After the matter was adjourned from time to
time, both the Learned Counsel have persuaded the
parties, their respective clients, to settle the
dispute amicably. The resolution of the dispute
has been possible due to a considerable degree of
effort by Learned Counsel. Consent Minutes of the
Order signed by the parties and by their respective
Advocates are placed on the record and marked "X".
Parties have agreed to withdraw all allegations
levelled against each other. Counsel appearing on
behalf of the First Respondent stated before the
Court that the First Respondent has no intention to
cause any distress to any member of the
Co-operative Housing Society and that should this
have been done unintentionally, he would seek to
tender an apology. This statement has been made in
the spirit of cooperation in which the matter is
now reported to the Court as having been settled.
The Petition shall stand disposed of in terms of
the Consent Minutes of the Order.
