1. Heard both sides.
2. The applicant has preferred Criminal appeal No.
570 of 1997 against his conviction under various
sections of Prevention of Corruption Act. The
applicant was in service, however, on account of his
conviction he has been removed from service. It is
stated that the applicant is reaching the age of
superannuation, hence, it is prayed that this appeal
be heard expeditiously. In view of the facts and
circumstances, the said prayer is reasonable. Hence,
the appeal to be placed on the final hearing board in
the week commencing from 17.10.2005 before the
appropriate court.
3. Application is disposed of.
