1. This Petition takes exception to the
maintenance awarded to the Petitioner’s daughters.
So far as the order directing payment of
maintenance is not challenged before me, but the
only challenge is to the quantum on the ground that
the Court below has awarded Rs.500/- (Rupees Five
Hundred) per month to the Respondent daughters,
overlooking the fact that the income of the
: 2 :
Petitioner was only sum of Rs.2,900/- (Rupees Two
Thousand Nine Hundred) and he was expected to
maintain his other family members.
2. I find no substance in the grievance made.
The amount of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) as
awarded, is reasonable and essential, for the
maintenance and upbringing of the Respondents 2 and
3 who are still minors. Hence, dismissed.
