We have heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner is not entitled to the relief which has been

claimed by him in prayer clause (a) of the petition. It is submitted that the petitioner has worked with the respondents. Since the petitioner was not an approved teacher, we would not like respondent Nos.3 to 5 to pay the arrears of his salary. However, the management of the school is under an obligation to pay the

arrears of salary, if any, to the petitioner. We direct respondent

¶16

No.3, Education Inspector, (North Division) to look into the matter and if necessary, give personal hearing to the petitioner and pass a reasoned order indicating the arrears to which he is entitled. We direct respondent No.2 to pay the arrears decided by respondent No.3, Education Inspector (North Division) within four weeks from the date of the order passed by respondent No.3.

No further directions are necessary in this petition. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
