It appears that the order dated 16th February, 2017 has not been complied by the appellant. As per the said order a consolidated cost in all the matters of Rs. 1.70 lac was to be deposited in the Prime Minister Relief Fund within four weeks. However, the same was not deposited.
Today when the matter was taken up, the counsel for the appellant has brought the cheque of Rs. 1.70 lac in the name of the Prime Minister Relief Fund. He submitted that the same was not accepted by them as it was supposed to be deposited within four weeks from 16th February, 2017.
Apparently, there is a delay of more than 8 months and negligence on the part of the appellant. For the said purposes further cost of Rs. 30,000/- is imposed upon the appellant. Last opportunity is now given to the appellant to deposit the earlier cost of Rs. 1.70 lac and Rs. 30,000/FPA-80/LKW/1996 Page 1 of 2
that is total amount of Rs. Two Lac within two weeks from today by way of Bank Draft in the name of Prime Minister Relief Fund by the next date of hearing. The appellant is directed to produce the receipt of the said amount on the next date of hearing.
The Counsel for the appellant submits that the paper book containing synopsis and relevant documents is ready and he would be filing the same in the registry within two weeks.
