On 16th September, 2016 time was granted to the respondent to file the reply in the appeal as well as in the application. No reply to the appeal and interim application has been filed. On 16th September, 2016 Mr. Vikas Garg, learned counsel for the respondent sought more time to file the reply to the appeal and application. Final opportunity was granted for the same, however, the matter was adjourned to 16th December, 2016.

In the meanwhile the interim application has been filed by the appellant seeking expeditious disposal of MP-2563/2016 and for stay of the effect and operation of the eviction notice dated 27th September, 2016. Copy of the application has been handed over to the learned counsel for the respondent. Let the reply to this application be filed within four weeks as well as reply to the appeal and stay application within same period.
List this matter on 16th December, 2016.
In the meanwhile the respondent shall maintain status quo in relation to the eviction notice issued on 27th September, 2016.
