The present writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the 2^nd respondent in not deciding the petitioner’s appeal dated 11.08.2025 filed against

the impugned proceedings dated 07.07.2025 of the 3^rd respondent thereby removed the petitioner from the post of Field Assistant working in Pidimgoyyi Gram Panchayat of Rajahmundry Rural Mandal, East Godavari District, as illegal and arbitrary.

The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Field Assistant working in Pidimgoyyi Gram Panchayat of Rajahmundry Rural Mandal, East Godavari District on 08.04.2007 and he continued in the same post but

surprisingly on 03.07.2025, the 3^rd respondent has issued a show cause notice with certain allegations and subsequently the services of the petitioner was removed by the 3^rd respondent vide proceedings dated 07.07.2025. Aggrieved by the said proceedings, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the 2^nd respondent on 11.08.2025. Despite the lapse of eight months, the 2^nd respondent has not considered the appeal filed by the petitioner and not passed any orders. Hence, the present writ petition.

Learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of the 2^nd respondent, on instructions, has submitted that the respondents will pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time.

Considering the said submission without going into merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2^nd respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner on 11.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders within the period of two months from today after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
