This Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief:

<…to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS, declaring the inaction of the 2nd respondent in not taking any action against the unauthorized construction constructed on, the Public road in front of petitioner House Bearing No.14-52/6, by the respondents 3 to 6 on the Shop Street extension running to North to South in Sy.No.257/7, Puttur Town, Chittoor District is illegal, arbitrary and unjust and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to remove/demolish the unauthorized construction made by the respondents 3 to 6 on the Public road of Shop Street extension running to North to South in Sy.No.257/7, Puttur Town, Chittoor District..…=

It transpires from the record (after memo filed by the Writ Petitioner) that

notice of this Court was served on Respondent Nos.3 to 6 on or about 07.04.2015, despite which, the said Respondents have not evinced any interest in entering appearance either in-person or through the Counsel even

till today. For this reason, the Respondent Nos.3 to 6 are set ex parte .

It transpires from the record that, this Court vide order dated 23.03.2015

was pleased to direct the Unofficial Respondent Nos.3 to 6 to stop construction in W.P.M.P. No.8680 of 2015.

In compliance with the para Nos.3 to 5 of the order of this Court dated

30.01.2026, Sri G. Lakshmi Narayana, learned Standing Counsel for Municipalities for Rayalaseema, Nellore and Prakasam Districts has submitted

the Written Instructions furnished by the Commissioner, Puttur Municipality, Tirupati along with the Commissioner Report dated 16.02.2025. Copy of it is also supplied to the learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner. The same are taken on record.

The Written Instructions along with the Comprehensive Report would indicate that no further construction activity has taken place and status of the alleged property remains unchanged and in view of the same this Court would reasonably presume that the Respondent Nos.3 to 6 had complied with the Interim Order passed on 23.03.2015 in W.P.No.8680 of 2015, wherein this Court had directed Respondent Nos.3 to 6 to stop the illegal construction made on the public road of Shop Street extension.

Having recorded the same, this Court is of the view that, since the Respondent Nos.3 to 6 have stopped the construction, no further consideration is necessary.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No order as to costs.

Interlocutory Applications, if any, stand closed in terms of this order.
