Heard Sri Sasanka Bhuvanagiri, learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and Sri S. Vijay Kumar, learned Counsel representing Sri A.S.C. Bose, learned Standing Counsel for Municipal Corporation.

Sri S. Vijay Kumar, learned Counsel representing Sri A.S.C. Bose, learned Standing Counsel for Municipal Corporation, has submitted the Written Instructions furnished by the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Guntur, dated 06.04.2026. Copy of it is supplied to the Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and the same is taken on record.

In Para 2 of the second page of the Written Instructions, it has been stated that the Bill of the Petitioner was accepted by the Commissioner, GMC for payment to the Petitioner and for clearing the said bill. Subsequently, the bill was audited for Rs.17,69,489/- on 26.12.2023.

Having so recorded, this Court deems it appropriate to allow this Writ Petition with a direction to all the Respondents, including Respondent Nos.2 to 8, to complete the entire Administrative process, both inter-departmental and intra-departmental, by way of mutual co-operation and coordination, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from today, and to transfer the amount to the bank account of the Writ Petitioner within four (04) month thereafter.

The Writ Petitioner is directed to submit the bank account details to the Competent Authority within four (04) weeks from today for effective compliance.

With these observations and directions, the Writ Petition is allowed. No order as to costs.
