The above writ petition was filed to declare the action of the respondents in not releasing an amount of Rs.4,29,207/- payable to the petitioner in relation to the work i.e., Providing O&M Repairs for removal of weed growth in Stuvartpuram Channel, vide Agreement No.62KW/2022-23 dated 25.03.2023, as illegal and arbitrary.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, Smt. Marella Radha, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the respondents released the amount to the petitioner, and no further adjudication is required in the writ petition. The statement made by the learned counsel is recorded and made part of the record.

Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the cause in the writ petition doesn’t survive. According, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
