ORDER:

The present Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeks the following relief:

“...to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the Resolution dated 11.11.2007 of the Managing Committee of Hiramandalam Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society and the consequential show cause notice of the 1^st respondent dated 16.11.2007, seeking to terminate the petitioner from the service of the 1^st respondent Society, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to Rule 72 of the A.P.C.S. Rules, 1964 and the Special Bye-laws issued by the Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, and consequently direct the respondents to continue the petitioner in service and pass such other order...”

Sri M. V. Raja Raam, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that, in view of the subsequent events that have taken place in the lis, coupled with the subsequent legal proceedings initiated by the very same petitioner, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for further adjudication and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

Sri G. Ramana, learned counsel representing Sri L.V.S. Nagaraju, learned counsel for the 1^st respondent, and Ms. M. Sandhya Deepthi, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Co-operation, appearing for respondent Nos. 2 and 3, are in attendance.

Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
