Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not considering the request of the Petitioners for registration of their Public Health and Sanitation Technology Course Certificates issued by Bethesda Institute of Health Sciences, Visakhapatnam as wholly illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently declare that the Petitioners are entitled for registration of their Public Health and Sanitation Technology Course Certificates and pass such other and further order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following main prayer:

“to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not considering the request of the Petitioners for registration of their Public Health and Sanitation Technology Course Certificates issued by Bethesda Institute of Health Sciences, Visakhapatnam as wholly illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently declare that the Petitioners are entitled for registration of their Public Health and Sanitation Technology Course Certificates and pass …..”

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Ms.Mukundini, learned counsel representing Sri Ravi Kondaveeti, learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that in view of subsequent events taken place in the lis, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for further adjudication and the writ petition becomes infructuous.
