Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction declaring the action of the Respondents in Withholding the payment of amount of Rs.48,32,030/- (CFMS.No.2023- 456993) even after finalizing the bills, payable to the petitioner in relation to the work i.e. Improvements to Gundugoluru-Korukollu road from Km.0.000 to 5.600 in West Godavari district, vide agreement No.153/2018-19, dt.06.02.2019, is questioned, as the same is illegal, arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents to consider for payment of Rs.48,32,030/- (CFMS.No.2023-456993) with interest @12percent per annum for the delayed amount to the petitioner in respect of execution of above-mentioned work forthwith and pass

The Court made the following order:

The grievance of the petitioner is that despite finalization of bills payable to it in relation to the work i.e ., ‘Improvements to Gundugoluru-Korukollu road from Km 0.000 to 5.600 in West Godavari District’, vide agreement No.153/2018-19, dated 06.02.2019, the respondent authorities have failed to release the payment of an amount of Rs.48,32,030/-

When the matter is taken up for consideration today, Sri P.Anand Surya, learned counsel, representing Sri Suresh Kumar Reddy Kalava, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the respondent authorities have released the entitled amount to the petitioner and the petitioner has received the same. Hence, no further orders are required to be passed in this

Writ Petition and prayed to close the Writ Petition.

Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall

be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
