Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased toto issue appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus setting-aside the impugned proceedings issued by the 5thand 6th respondents in Rc.No.47/E/2017 R.O.O. No.145/2017 dated 19.9.2017 in so far as placing the name of the 7th respondent above that of the Petitioner by assigning higher seniority in the guise of alternation date of regularization, as being arbitrary, illegal, without jurisdiction, contrary to the instructions issued in Government Memo dated 20.5.2004 and in violation of Articles 14 and 16 of Constitution of India and further be pleased to hold that the Petitioner is entitled to be considered and promoted as MT ARSI with all consequential benefits in preference to the claims of the 7th respondent in the interest of justice and to pass
