This Writ Petition filed invoking Article 226 of Constitution of India contending that at the insta nce of respondent Nos.4 to 6, the police are interfering with the peaceful and settled possession and ownership of the petitioner land in Sy.Nos.1463/3, 1088/3, 1493/3 admeasuring a total extent of Ac.5.28 guntas used for the purpose of royyala cheruvu and a specific attempt was made on 08.05.2026. Hence, the petitioner is constrained to move this Writ Petition seeking directions in the form of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent-police officials, not to interfere with the petitioner’s possession and enjoyment over the royyala cheruvu.

2. Heard Sri Sai Sriharsha, learned counsel representing learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri K.Sandeep, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on behalf of the respondent-State.

The grievance of the writ petitioner is that there exists a civil dispute between the petitioner and respondent Nos.4 to 6 with regard to the land situated in Survey Nos.1463/3, 1088/3 and 1493/3, admeasuring Ac.5.28 guntas, of Sriramuram Village, Kavali Mandal, SPSR Nellore District. Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that, in connection with the very same land dispute, earlier altercations between the parties had resulted in the registration of case and counter-case vide Crime Nos.52 of 2026 and 69 of 2026, and that the said crimes are presently under investigation.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, with reference to the written instructions, submits that the police authorities are proceeding strictly in accordance with law in relation to the aforesaid case and counter-case, and that they are not interfering with the civil dispute between the parties, nor do they intend to interfere with the same except in accordance with law.

5. Recording the said submission, and as no further orders are required to be passed, the Writ Petition is accordingly closed.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
