What did the court decide?
All three Civil Revision Petitions disposed of by common order. The condition requiring deposit of the entire suit amount is modified: the defendant is directed to pay costs of Rs.10,000/- to the plaintiff within four weeks and file a memo to that effect before the trial court. If the defendant defaults, the trial court's order dated 06.04.2023 comes into operation. If the plaintiff declines to receive the amount, the defendant may deposit it before the Mandal Legal Services Committee (MLSC). The trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the restored suit (of the year 2019) as expeditiously as possible, keeping in view the Court's circular vide R.O.C.No.560/OP/CELL/2022, dated 23.11.2022, in accordance with law. All pending miscellaneous applications stand closed.
