Criminal Petition was filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for brevity, ‘Cr.P.C.’), challenging the registration of an FIR in Crime No.523 of 2020 of Bommuru Police Station, East Godavari District, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 408, 420 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code (for brevity, ‘the IPC’).

Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.

The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that after thorough investigation, a charge sheet was laid in the above-mentioned crime.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the charge sheet filed in Cr.No.523 of 2020, if so advised, and if so pending, still.
