The present Criminal Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent No.1/Investigating Officer in Crime No.26 of 2026 of Tuni Town Police Station, Kakinada District, to complete the investigation expeditiously and file charge sheet before the jurisdictional Court within such time.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Ms. P.Triveni Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Sri Neelothpal Ganji, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, jointly submits that, pursuant to the registration of FIR in Crime No. 26 of 2026, dated 24.02.2026, of Tuni Town Police Station, Kakinada District, for the offences punishable under Sections 329(4), 115(2) and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the police, after completing the investigation, filed a charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Tuni, on 06.06.2026 for the said offences. They further submitted that the charge sheet has been taken on file and the case is pending before the competent Criminal Court.

At that juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent/police to extend police aid to the petitioner, which is the very relief sought in the present criminal petition.

4. Taking into consideration of the above facts and circumstances of the

case, and leaving it open to the petitioner to work out the legal remedies before the competent Court with regard to the relief of police aid, the Criminal Petition is closed in view of the fact that the charge sheet has already been filed, taken on file, and the matter is pending before the competent Criminal Court.
