Contempt Case No. 2036 of 2015 (High Court of Andhra Pradesh at Amaravati, Sri Justice Maheswara Rao Kuncheam, 02.03.2026): Twelve computer operators of West Godavari district filed a contempt petition under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971 against the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of APEPDCL and the Superintending Engineer, alleging non-compliance with the order dated 14.08.2015 in W.P.M.P.No.33424 of 2015 in W.P.No.25761 of 2015. An application (IA No. 1 of 2021, under Section 151 CPC) had been moved to delete Respondent No. 1, who was relieved on transfer on 24.07.2016. When the matter was taken up, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the main writ petition had been disposed on 28.12.2018 and the petitioners were not inclined to pursue the contempt proceedings. The contempt case has been filed for non-compliance with the order dated 14.08.2015 passed in W.P.M.P.No.33424 of 2015 in W.P.No.25761 of 2015.

When the matter was taken up, Sri CH.Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioners, fairly submit that the main writ petition was disposed on 28.12.2018. In view of the disposal of the main writ petition, the petitioners are not inclined to pursue the present contempt proceedings against the respondents.

Accordingly, recording the above submission, the contempt case is closed.

There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, all pending applications shall stand closed.
