The present writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking the following relief:

“…issue a Writ of Mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, declaring the action of the Respondents in trying to change the entries basing on the drone survey with regard to Survey No.119/1 with an extent of Ac.0.99 cents and Survey No.119/2 with an extent of Ac.14.06 cents which is a total extent of Ac.15.05 cents of the 1st Petitioner and Survey No.119/2 with an extent of Ac.10.94 cents and Survey No. 120 with an extent of Ac.4.12 cents which is a total extent of Ac.15.06 cents of the 2nd Petitioner without considering the original extent shown in the 1B Adangal and Pattadar passbook of the petitioners as illegal, arbitrary and violation of article 300-A and consequently direct the respondent to correct the entries of the drone survey basing on the 1B Adangal of the petitioners and to pass…”

Heard both sides.

The short grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent conducted the survey through drone and reduced the extent of the petitioners land and the survey was conducted in the absence of the petitioners, despite the lapse of three years, the respondent filed counter.

Hence this Court is inclined to dispose of the Writ Petition directing the petitioners herein to make an application for conducting survey. On filing such application, the respondent authorities are directed to conduct survey by following due procedure of law as expeditious as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks.

With the above said directions, the Writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no Order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
