ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with

the following prayer for:

“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction on the part of the respondents No. 1 to 8 more particularly 5^th respondent against the representation dated 31.01.2022 (2complaints) made by the petitioner for smuggling of the Red Sandal Teak Wood by cutting the trees from the Gollagam Grama Panchayath land in Sy.No. 124 to 130 and taking advantage of the same 9 to 15 respondents colluded with the accused and threatened the petitioner to withdraw the complaint before the 5th respondent District Collector dated 31.01.2022 (2complaints) even then not taking any action by the respondents 1 to 8 as per the another representation dated 11.02.2022 and 14.02.2022 of the petitioner as illegal arbitrary and violative of the articles 14,16 and 21 of the constitution of India and consequently to direct the 1 to 8 respondents to take action as per the

representations dated 31.01.2022, 11.02.2022 and 14.02.2022 to conduct an enquiry against the 9 to 15 respondents by appointing the Judicial officer not below the rank of District Judge to protect the property of Red Sandal Trees of the Government land in Sy.No.124 to 130 of Gollagam Grama Panchayath and lives of the petitioner and his family from the 9 to 15 respondents.”

2. Sri Bokka Satyanarayana Kamla, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, let there be a direction to the concerned District Collector and the Superintendent of Police to consider the representation of the Petitioner.

3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders.

4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Respondent Nos.4 and 5 are directed to look into the representation of the Petitioner and take appropriate measures according to the governing Rules and Law. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
