The present writ petition is filed for non-payment of admitted amount of Rs.11,18,166/- towards sanctioned 271 days of earned leave and 29 days of half pay leave as per the proceedings of Respondent No.7 in Rc.No.863/A1/2022, dated 30.07.2024.

The Petitioner was initially appointed as Work Inspector in the year 1985 and thereafter, he was promoted as Assistant Enginner. Thereafter, he had retired from service on 31.05.2023 on attaining the age of superannuation in the Respondent No.5Corporation. While so, the Petitioner was not paid earned leave of 271 days and half pay leave of 29 days totalling 300 days encashment as on the date of retirement. The Respondent No.7 issued Proceedings vide R.C.No.863/A1/2022, dated 30.07.2024 while directing the Respondent No.3 to draw and disburse the earned leave and half pay leave encashment to the Petitioner. As the same is not being disbursed, the present writ petition is filed.

A.P. Housing Corporation, on instructions, submits that the amount claimed by the Petitioner is not in dispute. The bills were also uploaded in CFMS portal and the payment would be made shortly.

In the light of the submissions made, as there is no dispute about the amount claimed by the Petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondent Authorities to disburse the amount within a period of two (2) months from today. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
