This Criminal Petition, u/Sec.482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/accused seeking anticipatory bail, in Crime No.9/2025 of Tadikonda Police Station, Guntur District.

A case has been registered preliminarily for the offence punishable

u/Sec.194 BNSS and later it was altered to Section 85, 108 r/w 3(5) of BNS. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State.

Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, this is a case of unnatural death due to hanging that occurred on 16.01.2025 at about 10.30 am at the

deceased person’s house at Mukkamala Village, Tadikonda Mandal and the

same was reported on 16.01.2025 at 8.00 pm by the deceased person’s mother Shaik Vahidaw, Seethanagar, 3^rd line, Guntur in which she stated that at the above date and time, her son in law informed her daughter Shaik Shannu, wife of Ravela Yeshodar had died due to hanging. When herself and her relatives rushed to Mukkamala Village, they found her daughter had died and was lying on the ground. She suspected the deceased death. Hence she came to Tadikonda police station and gave a written report for taking necessary action.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that without registering any crime against the petitioner, police are calling the petitioner to Police Station frequently and apprehending arrest, he filed the present petition.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that police will not call the petitioner to police station without registering any crime against him.

Without going into the merits of the case, considering the submissions made on behalf of both sides, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police concerned not to call the petitioner herein to the police station unless a crime has been registered against him.
