Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ Petition, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring action of first respondent in not releasing affiliation orders including additional intake to the petitioners colleges in D.Ed. Course for the academic year 2016-2017 despite the recognition granted by NCTE and the recommendation of SCERT as arbitrary, illegal and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking

the following relief:-

'....to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring action of first respondent in not releasing affiliation orders including additional intake to the petitioners colleges in D.Ed.Course for the academic year 2016-2017 despite the recognition granted by NCTE and the recommendation of SCERT as arbitrary illegal and pass....’’ 2. Today when the matter came up for hearing, Mr.K.V.Rajasree, learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that as the matter pertains to the affiliation orders for D.Ed.Course for the academic year 2016-17, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for further adjudication * and the matter has become infructudus. 3. Considering the above submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as ipfructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
