Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed praying that n the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue appropriate writ orderordirectionmore particularly in the nature of writ of mandamus for declaration declaring that denial of the benefit of service pension under circulardated3.11.2008of .. the respondent/corporation to the petitioners who retired from service prior to the cut off dated 30.6.2008 having served for morethantheminimum service of (10 ) years in the Corporation and retired by superannuation VRS/resignation etc., as illegal, not proper discriminatory, arbitrary, and violation of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently to pass orders directing the respondent/APIIC,Hyderabad for extending the pension scheme retrospectively arranging payment of pension with effect from 1.4.2008 to the petitioners provided they come forward to pay 10% contribution to the pension Corporation Fund, on parwiththosewhowere already covered by the scheme under circular dated 3.11.2008 of the corporation and to whom monthly pension is arranged by the LIC from 1.4.2008 and onwards.
