Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ order or direction more in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not acting upon the

directions of the UGC in extending the age of superanuation to 65 years and in seeking to retiree the petitioner from service on 31.8.2011 by^issuing Notice dated 21.6.2011 as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and also against the principles of natural justice and consequentially^todirectthe respondents to continue the petitioner in service till he completes^the age of 65 years as per the directions of the UGC.
