Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may "Be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction declaring the action of the Respondents in withholding the undisputed amounts payable to the petitioner in respect of works i.e., 1) Removal of Weed (Water Hyacinth) of Kandukuru MainCanalfromKm 25.00 to 37.500 Kandukuru Main Canal in Nellore Rural Mandal of SPSR Nellore District, 2) Desilting of Kakupalli Kalava and repairs to old Masonry culverts near Kondaiah palem village in Nellore Rural (M) of SPSR Nellore District, 3) Removal of water Hyacinth of Thikkavarapadu Branch Channel from Kms 0.00 to 3.900 and Amabapuram Branch Channel in Nellore Rural Mandal of SPSR Nellore District as illegal arbitrary and contrary to the Principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to pay undisputed amounts i.e., 1) Rs.20,19,488/-, 2) Rs.8,64,887/- and 3) Rs.8,79,904/- payable to the petitioner in respect of execution of afore mentioned works with an interest @12 percentage p.a. from the date of accepting the bills forthwith.
