This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of theConstitution of India
seeking the following relief:-

- The grievance of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Field Assistant on 01.04.2006, at Nagiripadu Gram Panchayat, Chitvel Mandal, Annamayya District under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. While the matter being so, the petitioner was compelled to resign from the post of Field Assistant due to political pressures. However, in the resignation letter, the petitioner has mentioned the reason for resignation as his ill-health and submitted his resignationon11.07.2024.On 24.08.2024 the petitioner submitted a representation requesting the respondents not to accept his resignation letter submittedon11.07.2024.As no action has been initiated on the said representation, the present writ petition is filed.
- Today, when the writ petition came up for hearing, leaned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.2 produced a copy of proceedings NO.A/982/HR/FA/Resignation/2024 dated 18.07.2024, wherein it is stated the

resignation ietter dated 11.07.2024 submitted by the petitioner was already approved by the respondents. 4. In view of the same, this Court feels that the cause in the writ petition does not survive.
