ORDER:
At the stage of‘admission, on 23.01.2014, this Court passed interim order directing the respondents to take further steps on the thesis submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Koteswar Rao, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-University produced a copy of instructions dated 17.0.2024, wherein it is stated that in compliance of the above orders, the University processed the thesis of the petitioner, conducted viva-voce and awarded Ph.D. Degree on 15.06.2018 vide notification No.DU/CII(a)/Exams/Off Campus Ph.D./Pol/2018. 3. In view of the same, this Court is of the opinion that cause in the Writ Petition does not survive. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
