This writ petition is filed to declare the action of respondents in issuing the proceedings No.870788/CRP & RD/B3/2019. dated 15.03.2024 by ignoring the seniority of the petitioner for promotion & conformed seniority list dated 23.05.2022, as illegal and arbitrary.

- The case of the petitioner is that, pending Writ Petition, respondent No.2 issued proceedings No.2464020/CPR & RD/B3/2024, dated 20.07.2024, wherein it is observed as follows:-
“In view of the above, Sri G.Peda Srinivasa Rao, Junior Assistant of Guntur District is hereby informed that the report of the District Panchayat Officer, Guntur report dated 21.03.2024 through which it was submitted that, the individual has passed the Departmental Tests was considered. However, due to Interim orders passed by the Hon’ble High Court in W.P.No.11588 of 2024 (Correct W.P.No.11558 of 2024) suspending the Promotion Proceedings issued by the Commissioner, PR&RD in Zone-Ill on 15.03.2024. Further promotion to the said candidate is not feasible.
Therefore, he is informed that, his candidature will be considered for promotion to Panchayat Secretary Grade-ll soon after the final orders passed by the Hon’ble High Court in W.P.No.11588 of 2024 (Correct W.P.No.11558 of 2024) subject to the condition that he is otherwise eligible and existing rules at the time of issuing such orders”.
- Sri R. Sudheer, learned counsel for the petitioner,wouldsubmitthatthe said proceedings of the Commissioner is made part ofthe record vide U.S.R.No.69885 of 2024.
- The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that, in view of the above said orders, dated 20.07.2024, no further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand
dismissed.
