This Criminal Petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings ini CFR.No.416, dated 30.01.2018 on the file of I Additional Junior Magistrate of I Class at Adoni against the petitioners herein and all consequential proceedings including the FIR'.No.99 of 2018 on the file of Ml Town Police Station, Adoni, Kurnool District. 2. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has furnished a copy of instructions of the Inspector of Police, Adoni III Town Police Station, Kurnool District dated 02.12.2024, wherein it is stated that after due investigation, a charge sheet i.e. C.C.No.167 of 2020 was filed on 17.02.2020 on the file of I Additional Junior First Class Magistrate, Adoni and the case was acquitted under Section 248(1) of Cr.P.C on 26.09.2024.
- In view of the fact that pending the present petition a charge sheet vide C.C.No.167 of 2020 was filed on 17.02.2020 on the file of I Additional Junior First Class Magistrate, Adoni and as the case was acquitted under Section 248(1) of Cr.P.C on 26.09.2024, this Court feels that no further orders would be necessary in the present petition.
- In view of the same, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in the Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
