The grievance of the petitioners is that the police are insisting to settle the issue by paying huge amount^tothewifeof the 1®* petitioner as compensation, whereas the learned^Assistant

Public Prosecutor submits that no compliant was received by the police of Narasapuram from the wife of the petitioner^and no crime was registered till today.

As there is no apprehension of threat in view of the instructions received from the S.l. of Police, Narasapuram^Rural Police Station, this Court views that no orders need be passed in this regard.

Considering the submissions made, the Station House Officer is directed not to insist the petitioners to settle the dispute with the wife of the 1®* petitioner, as material on record suggests that no complaint has been lodged before the police. Accordingly, this criminal petition is disposed of.
