powers to do real and substantial justice, depending on the facts and circumstances of the case. These powers must be invoked for compelling reasons of abuse of process of law or glaring injustice, which are against sound principles of criminal jurisprudence. 9. It is alleged in the complaint that on 25.01.2020 at about 1.30 p.m., while Respondent No.2/Complainant was returning home from Gandhi Municipal Vegetable market, Tenali, on his motorcycle. Petitioners herein abused him in the name of his castd and the remainingAccusedbeathim as a result of which, he sustained bleeding injuries, It is the contention of the learned Senior counsel for the Petitioners that on 25.01.2020 the people belonging to YSR Congress Party organized a counter rally and at that time. Respondent No.2 herein had thrown a lighted petrol bottle on the tent, and the same was noticed by some of the persons, who were in the tent. It is further contended that one Md.Khuddus, who sustained injuriesinthesaidincident also lodged a complaint with the Police which was registeredasacase in Crime No. 13 of 2020 of Tenali I Town Police Station for the offences under Sections 143, 423, 324, 506 and 18*8 read with 149 IPC. Respondent No.2, to overcome the said allegations has lodged the present complaint against the Petitioners herein and the other Accused.
