This Criminal Petition came to be filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code (for short ‘Cr.P.C.,’) seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR.No.143 of 2017 filed against the petitioner on the file of Vijayawada l-Town Police Station, Vijayawada, Krishna^District. 2. Today when the criminal petition came up for hearing,^learned Public Prosecutor has produced a copy instructions of the Sub-Inspector of Police, l-Town Police Station, Vijayawada wherein it is stated that having completed investigation a charge sheet was filed before the CMM Court, Vijayawada vide C.C.No.1634 of 2023 and the case is posted to 11.09.2024.

In view of the fact that a charge sheet has been filed in the present case vide C.C.No.1634 of 2023 before the CMM Court, Vijayawada, this Court is of the opinion that the cause in the petition would not survive for further adjudication. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet filed in C.C.No. 1634 of 2023.

Accordingly, this criminal petition is closed.

¶43

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in the Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
