This Contempt Case is filed for willful violation of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.134 of 2022 on 09.08.2023, wherein this Court passed the following interim order;
“ this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondentstoconsider the petitioners’ representations dated 18.12.2021 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a reasonable period of time, preferably, within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. ”
- Learned counsel for the petitioners has informed this Court that, after filing of the present Contempt Case, in obedience to the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.134 of 2022 dated 09.08.2023, the respondents/contemnors have considered the representations of the petitioners and rejected the same on 15.02.2023 as well as on 04.06.2024 and requestedthisCourttoclosethe contempt case.
As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending, if any, shall also
stand closed.
