ORDER :
This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willful disobedience of the interim orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.22538 of 2023 on 04.09.2023, wherein this Court passed
the following interim order:
“….It is the case of the petitioner that he obtained an interim order on 27.06.2023 in W.P.No.15277 of 2023, wherein it is stated that
“…there shall be an interim direction to the respondents to continue the petitioner in service till he attains the age of superannuation of 62 years.”
Inspite of the same, the respondent authorities passed the impugned proceedings vide Roc.No.694/2001-C1, dated 14.08.2023, informing that the petitioner is not eligible for enhancement of age of superannuation from 60 to 62 years. Though the matter is pending for consideration before this Court just because the respondents have filed vacate stay petition in W.P.No.15277 of 2023, they cannot pass the present impugned speaking order.
In view of the same, there shall be an interim stay of the proceedings vide Roc.No.694/2001-C1, dated 14.08.2023 issued by the 2nd respondent….”
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
