ORDER :

The Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking to declare the action of respondent No.3 in interfering with civil disputes between the petitioner and respondents 4 and 5 as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct respondent No.3 in the civil disputes between the petitioner and respondents 4 and 5.

It is stated in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition that respondents 4 and 5 approached the petitioner for his help in establishing ‘Ayushman Bharat’, an unbrella health scheme of the Government of India, and towards their initiation, they paid a sum of Rs.13.00 lakhs to the petitioner for putting necessary action in force. But, due to Covid-19 pandemic and other external factors and impediments, the said plan could not be executed in time and despite assurances of petitioner of completing requirements of respondents 4 and 5, the latter claimed their payment back, and in this regard, they, with the help of respondent No.3, are trying to exhort the petitioner by way of threat of arrest. Hence, the Writ Petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that respondents-police are not interfering with the civil disputes between the petitioner and respondents 4 and 5. Recording the submission made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

No order as to costs of the Writ Petition.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
