As the issues raised in all these cases are one and the same, they are being disposed of by way of this common order.

Heard Sri N. Krishna Sai, learned counsel representing Smt. Palem Lakshmi Priya, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Harish Kumar Rasineni, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.3 and Sri G. Venkata Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 4 and 5.

In all these cases, the petitioners had been granted social security pension. The payment of the said pension was stopped from June, 2019. Aggrieved by the said stoppage of pension, the petitioners have approached this Court by way of the present writ petitions. It is the case of the petitioners that the said pension was stopped without any reason and without any notices being served on the petitioners.

Sri G. Venkata Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 4 and 5, has produced the record relating to these cases. The said record shows that the notices were served on the petitioners either personally or by affixture of notices on the house of the petitioner, except in one case where the notice was placed in the notice board of the Panchayat office. Sri G. Venkata Reddy would further submit that the

payment of pension to the petitioners was stopped on account of the fact that these petitioners are all possessing more than Ac.10.00 of dry land which disqualifies them from grant of any pension. He would further submit that in W.P.No.1831 of 2023, the petitioner was claiming pension as a weaver and the same was stopped as the petitioner had stopped following the profession of weaving.

In view of the fact that payment of pension is a social security measure, it would be appropriate for this Court to grant one more opportunity for the petitioners to set out their objections before the appropriate authority.

Accordingly the copies of the show cause notices, said to have been issued in the year 2019, are being handed over by Sri G. Venkata Reddy, to Sri N. Krishna Sai, learned counsel for the petitioners. The petitioners are entitled to file their objections to the said show cause notices within a period of three weeks from today. Upon such objections being filed, the 4^th respondent shall pass appropriate orders either rejecting the objections filed by the petitioners or by directing payment of social security pension to the petitioners, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners. This exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing of the objections by the petitioners.

With the above directions, these writ petitions are disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
