ORDER;
The present writ petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction declaring the action of the Respondents in withholding the • payment of balance amount even afterfinalizing the bill, payable to the ' petitioner in relation to the execution of works i.e., (1) Periodic Maintenance to Puttur-Sathyavedu Road from KM 18/4-8 to 19/2-6, 22/0-4, 22/9, 23/5, 24/1-6, 24/6-25/4 and 25/6 to 26/0 in Chittoor District vide Agreement (LS) No. 134/2017-18, (2) Periothc Maintenance to Puttur- Sathyavedu Road from KM 11/0 to 12/0, KM 13/2 to 13/8 KM 16/0 to 17/650 in Chittoor District vide Agreement (LS) No. 133/2017-18, 3) Special repairs to the road from KM 7/8 to 15/0 of SullurupetSanthavellore Road in Chittoor District, (vide Agreement (LS) No.31/ 2018-19 as megal arbitrary and contrary to the Principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to considerfor payment of amounts to the petitioner in respect of execution of afore mentioned works forthwith andpass and pass order....”. 2. When the matter came up for admission, on this Court passed the following interim order:
“...In similar facts and circumstances, in the writ petitionfiled by the same petitioner i.e., WP No.29077 of 2018 dated 16.08.2018, this Court granted interim direction to the respondents to verify and quantity the amounts due to the petitioner in terms of the works admittedly executed and such undisputed amounts, if any, shall be paid to the petitioner within eight (8) weeksfrom the date of receipt ofa copy of this order.
