ORDER:-

This Contempt Case is filed to punish the respondents under Section 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for not implementing the order of this Court dated 20.09.2022 passed in W.P.No.30651 of 2022.

Mr.S.Rama lakshmana Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, is present.

Mr.Solomon Raju, learned counsel for the respondents has furnished a copy of the proceedings vide Rc.No.02/SER-IIA/2023, dated 20.02.2023 issued by the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh, and the relevant paras read as follows:

“The Hon’ble High Court in its orders dated 20.09.2022 has disposed the case and directed the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for filing up the posts of Lecturer under 10% quota with non-teaching staff and pass appropriate orders in the light of the Memo.No.SER-II-1/1699655/2022, dated 07.05.2022 of the 3^rd respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the orders.

Sri. Mohammed Akbar Ali, Typist, Government Degree College, Nandyal, Nandyal district is further informed that as per the Government orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.140 Higher Education (CE.A2) Department, dated 01.09.2021, his services as Typist along with other teaching and non-teaching staff were absorbed into Government and reported at Regional Joint Director

of Collegiate Education, Guntur and later posted at Government Degree College, Nandyal, Kurnool District. Accordingly, he joined duty on 12.10.2021 in Government Service”.

In view of compliance of the Order of this Court, cause of action does not survive in this matter, and accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. If at all the petitioners have any grievance against the above said proceedings, liberty is given to them to challenge the same.

There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any,

shall stand closed.
