ORDER :
This writ petition is filed questioning the inaction of the respondents in considering the applications made by the petitioners in the year 2012 seeking permission for digging of new fish tank in their agricultural lands.
Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Fisheries submits that in view of the new Act i.e., SADA Act, petitioners have to make fresh applications to the authorities seeking permissions.
In view of the subsequent developments, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. However, the petitioners are at liberty to file fresh applications before the respondents in accordance with new Act seeking permission for digging of new fish tank in their agricultural lands.
The writ petition is, accordingly, closed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
