CRIMINAL PETITION No.5710 of 2021
ORDER:
Petitioners are accused Nos.2 to 5 in C.C.No.16 of 2021 on the file of Junior Civil Judge/Judicial First Class Magistrate, Puttaparthi, for offences under Sections 420, 498-A, 506 of I.P.C read with Sections 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The petitioners seek a direction from this Court to quash the said case on the ground that the matter had earlier been compromised but the case was reopened for further hearing which is not in accordance with law. The petitioners also contend that the allegations made against them in the charge sheet do not make out a case under Section 498-A of I.P.C or the other provisions of law.
