These applications are filed under Sections 320(8) and 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short ‘Cr.P.C’) respectively, seeking permission to record Compromise and Compound the offences to quash the proceedings in FIR No.312 of 2021 on the file of the Station House Officer, Disha Women Police Station, Vijayawada, Krishna District pending in C.C.No.2708 of 2022 on the file of the II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Vijayawada, Krishna District.

The 2^nd respondent/de facto complainant lodged a complaint against the petitioners/A.1 to A.4 in FIR.No.312 of 2021, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 406 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (for short ‘IPC’) and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act on the file of the Station House Officer, Disha Police Station, Vijayawada City, registered as C.C.No.2708 of 2022 on the file of the II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Vijayawada, Krishna District and the same is pending before the learned Trial Court.

The petitioners/A.1 to A.4 and the 2^nd respondent/de facto complainant are present, they are identified by the Station House Officer, Disha Police Station, Vijayawada City, Krishna District, and their respective counsels.

A joint Memo of Compromise is filed by both the parties, when the terms of Joint Memo of Compromise are explained in Telugu language they are admitted to be true and correct. It is submitted that the petitioners/A.1 to A.4 and the 2^nd respondent/de facto complainant voluntarily entered into compromise, settled the matter outside the Court, due to intervention of elders and well-wishers and that there are no disputes between both the parties.

Under such circumstances, this Court deems it appropriate to allow the Compromise Petition and permission is granted to compound the offences. Accordingly, compromise is recorded in terms of the Joint Memo filed along with I.A.No.3 of 2022 and the applications are ordered.
