Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, none appears for the parties. Perused the record.
- This contempt case has been preferred alleging wilful disobedience to the order dated 25.02.2008 passed by this Court in W.P. No.15870 of 2007 directing the respondent No.5 therein i.e., the State of Andhra Pradesh represented by its Chief Secretary, to forthwith initiate appropriate measures including, if considered appropriate, prosecution of all the persons responsible irrespective of their position for the gross failures in the design, entrustment, execution, supervision or verification of the civil works pertaining to Sri Yogi Vemana University as revealed in the reports of the National Academy of Construction, Hyderabad dated 11.10.2006 and 17.01.2007.
