ORDER:
The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to declare the action of the 4th respondent in not receiving the application of the petitioner at Gazette Sl.No.17 in Gazette No.236 dated 23.6.2017 as illegal, arbitrary and consequently to direct the 4th respondent to receive the application and renew the license in favour of the petitioner.
During the course of hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Excise submits that the matter pertains to renewal of bar license and in view of the changed policy, nothing survives in the matter and no further orders are required and the same became infructuous.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
As a sequel, all the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
